About Us
We are a retired couple who came to Nayarit in 2004 to find a place to escape the gray cold Pacific Northwest winters.  We have four children and two grandchildren and wanted a home that would accomodate them when they visited.  We were also interested in having a rental to offset some of the expenses of a second home.  Good fortune smiled upon us with the discovery of a one-half hectare parcel on the south end of Playa Matanchen, a short walk from Aticama.
Our Design Ideas

In 2002 Hurricane Kenna devastated Nayarit from Puerto Vallarta to San Blas.  We found remnants of beach houses on lots that were stripped of most trees and amentities.  Our first priority was to design and build a hurricane-proof building that gave us and our guests privacy and yet, could work for a large group, if necessary.

Owning Waterfront

Non-Mexicans cannot own waterfront property.  Mexican corporations can, if they are income producing (hotels, B&Bs, rentals).  In 2006 Mexico changed their laws and now allow non-Mexicans to own up to 100% of Mexican corporations (instead of 49%).  We are selling one-fourth of our corporation and assigning it to one particular duplex.
